The Horizon Scanning

Horizon Scanning is the action of exploring the external context in order to better understand the nature and pace of change within the reference context. The aim is to identify potential opportunities, challenges and likely future developments relevant to the design of new spaces. We looked into the latest creations from the most influential architecture and design studios worldwide and locally.
The most published case studies in the last two years have been scanned on magazines, blogs and specialised websites.

Trends don’t generate themselves, they are shaped by external influences, in the same way in our globalized society local reality is related to shared reality. Scanning our society, we identified four forces driving choiches on an international level: the lack of resource, the port pandemic era, virtual experience and the new identity plurality.
